An alternative style block helped make these soft stucco walls. The foam blocks are
easily shaped, and invite a type of creativity difficult to do with bricks and wood.
Notice the niche carved into the wall next to the glass doors and the step-down end walls.

When plastered, the interior takes on a sculptural feel reminiscent of adobe.
Note the exposed timber trusses and wood plank ceiling.

The finished wall can have an insulating value of R-38.
