were here in the store last Saturday during the first snowstorm of the season. Thought that might stop most of people from coming out, but I guess there is a little bit of a US Postal carrier in a lot of us! Craig & Joy had one-on-one conversations with customers, comparing notes on how to photograph, what birds they'd seen, and the whole experience of getting closer to nature. Many copies of their books were sold, and proceeds were donated by the Johsons to the local Audoban Society. It was a cozy and fun afternoon. If you haven't seen their books, cards, or art prints, you're really missing something. Stop in - they've signed the shelf copies, but if you would like to ask them to personalize a copy for you, just let us know. What a GREAT gift - no kidding. These are the most beautiful bird books I've ever seen."
