New Start Time for Broad View 8:45 am.
I also have pick-up/drop off instructions for parents who drive their children to school. The area in front of the school will be closed for pick-up/drop off until all buses have arrived or departed. No Private vehicles will be allowed to enter until until BVE Staff has open up the drive-through area. Please find a SAFE location for you to pick up your student. Instruct them to use the crosswalks and and follow the crossing guards instructions. A great options would be for BVE to start the "Walking School Bus" program. A safe alternative for students to safely walk to school in groups. If you need additional information please see Ms. Swanson.

September 3 BVE Set-Up Day All Day
Volunteers needed all day. It has been a tradition at BVE that we have an army of volunteers available to help staff set-up classrooms, library, art room, office. We would like to have a group volunteers available for both the morning and afternoon. Morning Shift: 9:30 to 11:30 Lunch Break (PTA Provided for volunteers and staff) Afternoon Shift 1-3:00 Alumni of BVE are welcome to volunteer also. High School Students remember to pick-up your Community Service form in the BVE office and have it signed. * If you have already made arrangements to help a staff member- could you please let Wendy know. Lunch at BVE will be provided for Staff and volunteers starting at 11:30. Please RSVP to Wendy if you plan on attending lunch. If volunteers would like to donate desserts or a salad- you can drop them off at the BVE on September 3. Yearbook/ School Pictures
This year's school pictures are already in place but someone will need to line up the contract in the Spring 2009. A person responsible for the Yearbook is still needed. I have a price quote from the company that we had last year- and it still is a great price for an all color yearbook.
