Big Top Circus Style Tent Needs Site in the Seattle Area! 60 Long, 40Wide
I'm looking for a spot in Seattle, Fremont, Ballard, Wallingford/Greenlake, or other spots in Seattle in that order for a circus tent for a show called Teatro Discounti, Cirque de Jerque, for an open endend run. This is not only a great show with highly professional vaudeville/variety/circus acts, it's also a a slight spoof on the bigger highly expensive show with a similar name. We plan on offering a good dinner, and amazing two hour show, plus, unlike the more expensive show, the first glass of wine or beer with dinner will be free, all for a third of the price. Our ads will say: How do we do it so cheaply? We use FAUX Euro-trash entertainers, not even a trained chemist can tell the difference! Willing to do Straight rental or piece of the action or a combination of both. Willing to pay or barter a finders fee. If you own a biz, this will be AWESOME PUBLICITY. The tent is sixty by forty, grass preferred, asphalt will do. I can stake into asphalt and repair it as good as new or better afterwards. If I had to, I could set it up without staking but it's a lot more of a hassle and expensive. I've had it up in Seattle a number of times before. I'll deal with all the permits. I'm reputable, and have a slew of references. Though we do have the funds to produce this without help, if someone wanted to invest, either by throwing in cash, or against giving us a rental/lease against a piece of the gate, it would make our PR budget go farther. If you already have a liquor license and do food, I'd consider turning that part over to you. Open to other suggestions for the deal. I'd VERY MUCH consider a partnership with a progressive non-profit who'd want a cut of the proceeds. Looking to open in the middle of March, though I would consider earlier or later if it fit your promotional needs, and run at least four weeks worth of Thursday, Frid, Sat, Sunday's, and open ended availability cause the show will be superlative, affordable, and the kind of thing take off and run a while. The tent's MAJOR attention getter and your business can even utilitize it when the show's not running for sales, lots and lots of extra eatery seating, or even a rainproof public market. Fenced would be cool but not necessary. We've got all the tech (sound and lights) ready too.
