The discrepancies I found after removal of the fabric covers
Broken nose ribs

![]() Here is a bird nest with a hornet nest on top of it along with some more mud dauber nests
![]() These are the repairs I have made so far.
Nose ribs replaced. All the nose ribs were broken and have pieces missing
![]() I manufactured new and replaced.
![]() Of course this required the leading edges to be removed and replaced also.

![]() Also you can see the new fuel tank bunks after replacement.
All the flap hinge points were removed and cleaned and reinstalled
![]() All wood cleaned sanded and refinished with two part
Non yellowing Epoxy varnish, and masked ready for fabric glue.
![]() All wooden surfaces were cleaned and refinished with 2 part
non yellowing varnish from Smith and Co.
