I received the aluminum sheet and made the new engine bay doors
and the portion that opens each side
and painted, taped off for the red stripe
The reason that this has taken so long to get the doors on, is that I had to make
the latches from scratch, they are over center catches that actually pull the doors tight.
But,,, it is down to painting the trim and final finish.
I have finished the log entries, 337 and have them in the mail, Now I'm waiting for
an insurance quote, but I have most of the taxi testing done, I have had the tail up,
and can hold runway center line with it, so far it has no bad habits. Brakes working well,
engine had 1 big oil leak, that is fixed, and cleaned up.
I had my friendly hangar neighbor (A&P)  inspect it and he found 3 cotter pins missing,
and 3 quick assembly nuts that I had forgot to changed to the proper nut. those gripes are fixed.
Next nice weather we may fly.
