Committe members Mike Seraphinoff,Iris Morow, Joyce Adams, Connie Lloyd, Diane Shiner, and Sandra Day met on 4-3-06.

Guest attendee, Mike Dolan, provided an overview of previous work by committees having similar goals & interests to Look & Feel. He also proposed a future intercommittee meeting to promote coordination and prevent overlap of committees.

The need to promote awareness & discussion with Freeland area residents of committee issues was identified. Methods of facilitating committee objectives was also discussed. Some suggestions included: Community Pride Day, Adopt A Tree program, newpaper updates, and speaking at various group meetings.

Action: Diane will contact UW re obtaining any additional information from the 1988 Landscape Architecture Freeland Study
Action: members will photograph commercial buildings, landscaping, set backs, lighting, and signage in the Freeland area for the next meeting. The photos should include desirable and less than desirable examples, and will be used to discuss establishment of recommended guidelines for future development.

The next meeting will be Monday April 24th at 7:00PM. The meeting location has been changed to the home of Iris Morrow, 5590 Woodard in Freeland.
