Bob Arnold is known for his unique Raku pottery. His pottery is removed from the kiln while it is till red hot. It is then paced in a container of either sawdust, straw, paper or leaves. A lid is placed on the top of the container and the pieces are allowed to cool in a Smokey environment. Raku pottery is very porous and therefore will not hold water.
