Joseph Albert III - Clinton, Washington Joseph, a native Seattleite, has been enamored with Native American and First Nation cultures and art and folk art carvings, since he was a child. Although not limiting himself, Joseph has elected to focus on carving Northwest Coast Native style art because of its uniqueness and beauty. Joseph also carves birds and animals, turns objects out of wood and works in metal, glass etching and engraving. Award winning and internationally known, Joseph has works in private collections in England, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Turkmenistan and throughout the United States. Joseph is a member of the Master Carver's Association of Renton, Washington, Whidbey Allied Arts, the Whidbey Island Woodworkers Guild, the National Woodcarvers' Association and the American Wood Turners' Association (and Seattle Chapter).
