Uniquely Whidbey’s mission is promotion and marketing of our County's businesses and organizations to the public.  Using local businesses keeps tax dollars in-county to provide those services necessary to the well-being of our community. Founded by the Port District of South Whidbey Island in 1991, the show has grown to a two-day annual island-wide event and is the largest business expo of its type in the northwest region!

For Business - Why Exhibit?
This unique marketing opportunity will be in its 18th year in 2009!  As a showcase of local businesses, this is also your opportunity to network with 130+ businesses from all over Whidbey Island and to market to potential new clients.  Public attendance averages around 3,000 - 3,500 (weather permitting).  All of our exhibitors make contact with potential clients from areas outside their business location.

For the Public - Why Attend?
This is a fun and free event for the whole family to enjoy!  There is always a fantastic assortment of talent and ideas – from high tech to personal care to financial information to gifts, something for everyone – including education and entertainment.

“Economic Citizenship begins at home.  Keeping your spending dollars local assists everyone in creating a vital economy for our county,” says Sharon Hart, Executive Director of the EDC, which coordinates the annual event.
"Your dollar spent locally circulates through the local economy three times – creating the opportunity for additional job creation.  Our small businesses are a very important component in our economy.  There is such a variety offered locally."
