A wonderful, contemporary Butsudan (Buddhist shrine for the home). It is black lacquer over Hinoki (I think) and is in excellent condition. It sits on a red lacquer stand. The interior is hand carved with gold leaf. Two electrical lanterns hang on each side of the interior, so when the shear interior doors are closed the piece becomes a wonderful lighted accent for your room. It is in excellent condition. |
