Calendar of Events

Please see our online Calendar of Events. During construction of our new building, you may also wish to view our online Building Schedule. If you would like to add an event to the calendar, please send items to the Committee Chairs may obtain a password from the for adding or editing calendar events. We ask that only activities relating to the mission of this congregation be placed on the calendar.

Sunday Services

September to June, services are held at 4:00 on Sunday afternoons and generally end before 5:15. Child care is provided for young children. Socializing and snacks are available after the service.

A service usually includes music, readings, meditation, announcements, and/or time for members to share joys and concerns, followed by the main program. Service leaders from the congregation take an active part in planning the service.

Newcomers sometimes wonder what to wear to a service. We generally dress in whatever makes us comfortable. Men will be found in everything from jeans to casual dress slacks. Women generally wear anything from jeans to dresses. Children are encouraged to wear play clothes because the CRE classes often involve crafts or games.

Community Activities

Potlucks, concerts, picnics, parties, movie nights, study/discussion groups, and a book group are some of the activities that members enjoy for intellectual stimulation, personal growth, spiritual development, and excellent food. Meetings of the Board of Trustees, committees, the choir, and the congregation as a whole are held to conduct the work of the church. UUCWI also actively participates in UU district and national events and meetings. Meetings and activities are also listed on our Calendar of Events.
