If you live on Whidbey Island, you already know what a special place it is. If you are new, or just making a cyberspatial visit, let me give you an introductory tour.

There are several ways to get on the Island. From Seattle, take Interstate 405 or 5 north to State Route 525 and the Mukilteo Ferry. From Mount Vernon take SR 20 to Anacortes and drive over the spectacular Deception Pass Bridge |
|
A ferry from Port Townsend brings you to the island if you're on the Olympic Peninsula or exploring Hoods Canal. There are two small airports (for small aircraft), but call ahead so I can pick you up. One of the best ways to enjoy Whidbey is to stay in a Bed and Breakfast. Wild life and birds are abundant. Trees, lakes, and miles of shoreline beckon. |

Our weather is similar to the rest of the area, but we are an island so it is a bit more changeable than other places. Check the National Weather Service for current conditions and the week's forecast.
The largest island in Puget Sound, Whidbey is 45 miles long and consists of three areas, each with its distinct character. I can show you any property listed in the area of your choice, but I specialize in the communities of South Whidbey. Check out the listings that I represent, or give this site a look for the biggest choice in Whidbey Island properties on the net!
You can reach me at the Bayview Office of Coldwell Banker Tara Properties, 360/321-6400, my home office 360/222-3054, or my residence 360/678-7028. (The first two are local calls from South Whidbey, the last is local to Central and North Whidbey.) Naturally, I'm eager to get together by e-mail as well, feel free to drop me a note at gvaughan@whidbey.com.
