February 2019 Well cover replacement
Jim Patton, Brian Hunt, Bill Hamburg, and others ordered and replaced the old and rather rusty steel cover for the well head with a new aluminium one.
The "lip" around the edge of the new cover will keep bugs from getting into the enclosure. A PVC pipe through the cinderblock side of the enclosure will ensure that there will be plenty of air for the well pump to draw on when it is running. A new lock will keep the well head safe.
