Eric Mulholland is an actor and teacher and has been working with youth for over 20 years. Eric first became passionate about theatre in High School and at an early age began studying Children's theatre and performance. His interest led him to begin working as a teen with youth in various arts programs at schools and city programs. He received a scholarship to study theatre at the University of LaVerne where he specialized in Creative Dramatics and Acting. Professionally, Eric directed and acted in a regional touring children's theatre company called The Imagination Machine and has appeared in over 50 plays in the Los Angeles area such as Amadeus, Cloud Nine, Ghosts, The Misanthrope, and The Baltimore Waltz. Eric has taught drama in schools around Southern California to youth of all ages and taught middle school for two years.

Eric has traveled to Europe and appeared in the nationally celebrated production of Anton Chekhov's The Lady With The Pet Dog directed by Georgji Paro, head of the National Theatre of Croatia in Zagreb and most recently traveled to Kampala Uganda and trained educators to use drama in their youth programs and to co-facilitate a camp for youth living with HIV.

Eric has also led workshops for regional educators and youth workers in using theatre in the classroom He has worked for The Power of Hope and most recently at the Islandwood teacher conference on Bainbridge Island. He enjoys helping teachers discover ways to incorporate drama in their curriculum. Whether through improvisation or focused theatre games, Eric is an advocate for creating fun and vibrant learning environments.

Locally, Eric has appeared in several plays at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts such as: The School for Scandal, Sylvia, A Christmas Carol, Three Sisters, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Little Women. In addition, Eric has taught acting and Improvisation on South Whidbey for the past four years in private practice, at WICA and WCT.
