Greenbank Cellars winery is located on a 5-acre parcel that used to be the homestead of the Day Family. The original house burned down in 1950 and was replaced by the current cinder-block one. The barn is original and thought to have been built around the turn of the century. The large cinder-block warehouse was built later and housed a welding shop.
Frank and Betty Rayle bought the property in 1987, primarily because of the storage and workshop space in the warehouse, and that it was supplied with 3-phase power which Frank needed to run his large assortment of power equipment. The art studio/mechanical music room was added by Frank in 1993, and the blue pole building in 1996.
