All Washi Boxes, including multipurpose boxes, jewelry boxes and music boxes are designed by artist Jan McGregor and handcrafted for her exclusively in Japan, using Japanese woods and handcrafted Washi paper. The Washi Egg ornaments and Origami Note Cards are handcrafted in the McGregor Studios on Whidbey Island in Coupeville, Washington. The textiles for all bags and purses are hand selected in Japan by Ms. Jan McGregor and these items are handcrafted in Japan for exporting to her.
